Fabulous west coast cuisine in a stunning location. The hills at the back tend to protect the patio from the prevailing wind. We often saw harbour seals swimming nearby and lounging on the kayak pier.

Amazing Mexican food at ‘The Lazy Gecko’. Who would have thought Mexican food on the south coast of Vancouver Island?? It was worth a few visits.

If in the area, ya HAVE to go to the 17 mile pub (named for the distance it is from Victoria). Fabulous food in a classic old English pub setting. There is a patio out back.

Please note that it’s now off the highway due to recent highway upgrades.
