Not exactly breakfast at Tiffany’s.

It didn’t take us long to discover “Floyd’s Diner” in James Bay. An Edwardian two-story like our rental, it was built as a residence in 1904, before becoming a grocery store in 1913. At some point it became a restaurant, then another and another. It is now a totally funky, eye-catching diner. Again, very ‘James Bay’.

Photos from the web. The Tea House opened in 1986, and closed in 2018 (when it became Floyd’s Diner)

Of course I had ‘The Mahoney’, and I won.

The food was delicious, the coffee superb, and the mojitos were perfect. But like everywhere else on the island, the wasps were a royal pain in the arse.

    1. It was very cool, but I don’t think Viggo would have tried “The Mahoney”! 😂

    1. It was a bit strange. Like an omelette with cheese & mushrooms folded into a small baguette, and served over delicious cut potatoes and gravy.

      🤤🤤🤤
