Every marriage requires compromise. Long ago we came to an agreement on how to spend our vacation time. Half is “David time”, that is, R&R. This is something I have a PhD in. The other half is “Pippin time”, which is a nod to the Hobbit of that name who “…had to look.” Bernie has to see everything, wherever we are. It usually involves a lot of movement, which I try to do with minimal whining. I don’t always succeed.
Today, it was her turn. Another €✓®©×•-$:!+ hike.
Looks great, we may have to use you as our hiking guides when we get there 😊.

Although most people try and get their walks in in the early part of the day, it’s rather warm and muggy all day long. We brought lots of water with electrolytes in it.
