There is a huge brush fire above Lahaina (in the Kauaula valley) that has disappeared and restarted several times. We are not the least bit surprised given how dry the west coast of Maui is! If one didn’t know better, one might think a side vent in Mauna Kahalawai had opened up.

The smoke drifts west towards Lanai, where the sun goes down. Bernie gets more sunset photos. We may have to buy more storage space on the iCloud. Apple loves my wife.
