Alii Nui sunset dinner cruise – the photo on our home page is from this event, and we dedicated a blog post to it. On the ‘must do’ list if you go to Maui. Pricey but it includes hotel pickup and drop off and all food & drink (which is fantastic). Top-notch service. A good value in our minds.

Mala Tavern, Lahaina – This quaint little place sits right beside the water in Lahaina. It’s in a less touristy part of town, so you will have to go a bit out of your way to find it, but you really should make the effort. You will be serenaded by waves and at certain times, by a musician. Turtles make frequent appearances.
It is a bit pricey – surprisingly – but the food is excellent.
We mentioned it in an early post .

Bistro Casanova, Kakului – During our one and only trip into the big city to go to HELL – sorry, Costco – we had lunch at this delightful little bistro. Fantastic homemade Italian cuisine!

The Sea House, Kapalua area – Serendipity led us to this wonderful place for lunch. True beachside dining at very reasonable prices (for Maui).

The Kula Lodge – Set on the west side of Haleakala, this place has fantastic views over Maalaea Bay. It has some of the best crab cakes we’ve ever had (tied with Bernie’s brother-in-law Mark Frost), and the forno oven creates rather yummy pizza. It’s a bit out of the way, so it’s best to make it part of a larger road trip.
It has odd hours, so check their website before making your plans.

The other ‘must do’ is Warren and Annabelle’s Magic show. See our post on it. Utterly fabulous.
It’s a fairly pricey evening if you include the dinner and cocktails, but well worth it!!
