More turns than the road to Hana.

So today we drove from Ōmōpere to Pokeno. The first hour or so was like a Zumba class for your arms:

Dec 20, 2022. This was not even the curviest section!

Made it safely though, and just beat a small NZ downpour.

Nothing dampens the spirit of a Kiwi!

We finally broke down…😲

Had a Kiwi burger.

Yup. It’s about 4″ thick, with all the usual trimmings PLUS beetroot and a fried egg.

Not sure we need to eat tomorrow.

      It was quite a bit thinner than the beetroot in the last one we had (back in 1994)! Back then it was all you could taste.
