The pinnacle of cute.

We headed upstream to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, to fulfill one of Bernie’s life dreams.

Okay, they are kinda cute. They also sleep 20 hours a day!

This bird was not emused at one of the kids having a tantrum.

They were very tame…and soft!
No idea how Joey is breathing.

Other critters were not quite so cute and cuddly.

Barn owl. Beautiful!
One massive eagle. Don’t zoom in if you get queezy. Lol.
The Taipan. Majestic but DEADLY! 👉

We counted 12 in this spider village.
Turns out the Tasmanian Devil doesn’t spin!

    Awwwwh! The koalas look so sweet! I’ll bet some were rescued from the fires? So happy they have places to help! Thanks for the turtle shoutout!!🐢!

      They were kinda sweet. 😏

      Nope. This sanctuary was opened in 1927 by a Queensland man who was concerned that they were being hunted to extinction. Imagine hunting koalas!! 😡😱😥

      Of course! We cannot see a 🐢 without thinking of how much you love them. 😊

      No sooner that they placed Milton in my arms, he decided to poop in my hand. I was the first person on his shift and he wasn’t really in to his job just yet. It’s all good though. Their poop looks like bunny poop.
