It has been lots if fun to join you on a virtual vacation to NZ and Austr. You have done an impressive job recording lots of details, pictures and videos from every day’s experience. It’s a lot of work, I couldn’t have done all that, and it comes with sacrifices. You sacrifice a bit of living in the moment, as you always have to record your day, but then you will appreciate it later when you can sit down and re-live some of these experiences.

Buuuuut, we are on Vancouver Island from June 1 – September 30th, so if you and the family happen to be out that way, we would love to get together!!

If you are in Calgary until the end of May, let me know where you are located (your old house?) and I’ll meet you for lunch anytime. Not sure about hitting the island this summer but you never know … time is our oyster … anything can happen. The family is going to Mabel Lake for a week at the end of August (your nieces & their husbands & kids, friends) other than that who knows, no plans as of yet.
